Music Video Presentation

I had a few ideas fo my music vid and I was thinking of using a blank room with plain walls and then use green screen to create the effect of the room changing from diffrent extreme colours really fast with someone sitting in the corner of the room or prehaps the middle, shaking their head as if their crazy and i'd speed it up in editing to get the effect i'm after. I would also like to create the feeling of things being backwards by having a shot of someone switching the telly on, looking out the window and then pouring a drink as if their lonely. I would play the clip in reverse to give me the effect. I could also create the feeling of things being backwards by showing a women at work and a man in the home doing house work in a frilly apron along with a few other shots. I think if it was done correctly it could really work.
Today we watched a few music videos by 'Simple Plan' just as an example to show us what kind of meaning can come out of the way it is shot and edited. One was about the main singer trying to put across the fact that he is very passionate about a girl. Objects smash around them as they play their guitars. This is trying to influence us to believe they 'rock so hard' that objects literaly smash at the band's feet. You also see they are a band straight away by the way the cmaera man has shot the boys all together rather then individualy. You see alot of the main singer to 'build his profile'.
